The Sound Path
Listen to the sounds of the Toggenburg mountains and become a musical part of them: The sound trail has been revitalised and awaits guests with new installations and restored classics. Discover the family hike in Eastern Switzerland and reach the new Peter Roth Sound House and Resonance Centre!

After the start at the Alp Sellamatt mountain station, there are several sound installations spread along the entire trail, which can be made to resound by young and old. Between the various instruments, you can listen to the silence of the forest or the sounds of the animal world. The first stage, Alp Sellamatt to Iltios, is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
On the high plateau of Iltios is the mountain restaurant of the same name with a natural playground. The sun terrace or the cosy restaurant invite you to linger. Afterwards, the sound trail can be continued over the Dunkelboden to the upper village of Wildhaus.
