New Year in the mountains

Spend an unforgettable New Year's Eve high above the valley in the middle of the ski area at 1,680 metres above sea level - bring the old year to a close in the cosy atmosphere of the Stöfeli Mountain Inn and toast the new year in the wintry mountain world.

Spend this year's New Year's Eve in the middle of the mountains in the Chäserrugg area. On 31 December 2023 you will be treated to an aperitif and a festive 3-course menu at the traditional Stöfeli Mounatin Inn. Shortly before midnight, you can toast to the New Year on the terrace of the Mountain Inn by the fire bowls and ring in the New Year in a relaxed atmosphere. From the terrace you can also watch the fireworks in the valley and the Alpstein illuminated by the moon.

The next morning, a rich breakfast awaits you and you are ready to enjoy the new day on the ski or sledging runs. The day pass for 1 January 2024 is already included so you can start the New Year in an active way. If you prefer to ski on Sunday, please let us know and you will receive the day ticket for 31 December 2023 instead of 01 January 2024 included in the price. In this case, the included ascent can also be used as a descent on Monday, as you can reach the Stöfeli on Sunday with the day ticket.
