On Mother's Day you can enjoy an long brunch with the family in the Iltios Mountain Restaurant. From the sun terrace you can overlook the playground and enjoy an impressive view of the Churfirsten.

Spend this year's Mother's Day in the heart of the Churfirsten mountains! Enjoy a cosy brunch in the Iltios mountain restaurant with regional products and an incredible view of the Churfirsten and the Alpstein.
You can book the mountain railway journey online at the same time as the brunch. The railway ticket is valid for one ascent and one descent on the first section (chair gondola and shuttle). If you already have a train ticket, a Chäserrugg Pass or a summer pass for the Chäserrugg area, you can remove the train journey when booking.

Turn your brunch into a day trip
Even the journey there is exciting and the natural surroundings will amaze young and old alike. The excursion starts with a ride on the chairlift from Alt St. Johann to Alp Sellamatt, from where the scenic hiking trail leads up to Iltios. The first stage of the sound trail can also be found on this path.

Once you reach the mountain restaurant, enjoy brunch and the warming sunshine on the terrace. On the Iltios, the children are in perfect hands with the natural playground and parents are therefore all the more relaxed. Afterwards, you can take the new funicular railway from Iltios to Unterwasser, from where the path along the Thur takes you back to Alt St. Johann.
