Springtime skiing on Chäserrugg
The sunlight hours are longer, the snow becomes softer and the temperatures are milder: Spring is slowly beginning to announce itself. Now is once again the perfect time to discover the mountain world whether on skis, snowboard or by foot. With the spring-like weather, the day trip to the Chäserrugg area can be enjoyed from start to finish.

Spring weather can now be enjoyed to the full on skis or snowboard: The eye is spoiled by the unique mountain scenery while the headwind offers a change from the mild weather. Also in spring, the east run is an impressive route, because the rocks at the edge of the slope are partly already cleared of snow and thus offer spectacular sights. If you like it sporty, you can ski the 5.2-kilometre route without a break; for more relaxed skiers, it is worth taking small breaks at the side of the piste and enjoying the view over nature.

Whether you enjoy the view over Lake Walen and the steep rock faces of the Churfirsten on the Rosenboden or discover the striking shape of the Churfirsten peaks and the Alpstein on a hike on the Churfirsten Panorama - for winter hikers, too, the Chäserrugg area is the perfect place for an excursion. The mild temperatures make hiking particularly pleasant now, and breaks on the benches in the spring sunshine are once again a good idea.
